    Vice President, Accounting, Finance & IT Search

    Brian Stepnuk has a wealth of experience in the accounting and finance field.After more than 20 years in senior and executive financial and accounting roles, Brian has turned to applying his extensive experience and network towards helping companies with their recruiting needs. Previously, Brian was the vice-president of finance in a publicly traded company within the manufacturing sector.

    Brian is a chartered accountant and an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Manitoba, Brian has earned a Professional Teaching Certificate from the Province of Manitoba and has taught in a variety of areas.

    In addition to his five years of public practice, Brian has held senior finance roles in both federal and provincial crown corporations and in industry at both the director and vice-president levels. Prior to joining the Legacy Bowes Group, Brian provided recruiting and consulting services to a variety of industries and is now applying his experience and knowledge to clients of the Legacy Bowes Group.

    Mario Tomberli is the newest addition to the LBG Accounting & Finance team. He has over ten years of accounting/recruiting experience and has progressed quickly throughout his career.

    Over the years, Mario has managed a wide variety of projects, including Business Intelligence Software development - working closely with IT and Accounting professionals in developing databases and reporting tools. His versatility has translated well to recruiting, as he understands first-hand what it takes to succeed in a wide range of roles.

    A naturally analytical individual, Mario’s forensic take on problem solving allows him to methodically analyze his clients’ needs and find the best matches possible. Placing a significant emphasis on personality matches, Mario ensures he understands employers’ specific workplace cultures, challenges and opportunities to insure long term successes. In order to find the best possible matches, he takes the time to go past resumes and postings to find the perfect match for employer and employee.
