Creating an Execution Culture is all about getting things done through people. In order to do that, you need to get your senior team on the same page in their thinking about management vs. leadership and how it relates to empowering people to get things done.

Good questions are the key to successful planning and decision making. Throughout the business planning process we must consider strategic questions to help us understand the current situation, focus areas and our vision for the future. Strategic planning is an intensive process and should be a team effort – it should not be done in isolation.

I was recently looking at a photo of a gentleman who was celebrating a large catch at an ice fishing derby.  And I mean large!  It was definitely a successful trip. But it also made me think how often people in organizations compare recruitment and executive search to fishing.
