The Board has identified the following Strategic Objectives:
- Provide quality career focused programs that are current and relevant.
- Maintain our high level of student success.
- Increase overall enrollment with an emphasis on secondary, Aboriginal, and new Canadian learners.
- Encourage students to reach their full potential.
- Increase the number of educational opportunities for our students.
- Prepare our students for the workplace, and create smooth transitions to employment or to further education.
- Provide the skills and knowledge required for our students to become productive and responsible members of society.
- Maintain an atmosphere where students feel safe, valued, respected and comfortable.
- Maintain existing high rate of students that obtain employment after graduation.
- Develop a pathway to a degree (higher learning) for our students.
- Enhance articulation with other educational institutions and with industry.
- Develop an active alumni association.
- Maintain user friendly support services that are value added and efficient.
- Recognize and celebrate the contributions of staff and ensure that we maintain and support a respectful workplace.
- Maintain clean and well-kept facilities.
- Maintain sustainable development practices by taking an aggressive approach to water consumption, lawn care and composting.
- Maintain financial stability by strategically using existing resources efficiently and by developing alternate revenue sources.
