Programs, Services & Successes

The WTC offers more than 30 programs & services Including 19 full-time programs in skilled trades, information technology, health and human services; degree pathways; 2 English Language Centres; 6 Adult Learning Centres; a Pre-Employment Centre; Apprenticeship Training; Enterprise Services; and Articulation agreements with high schools and post-secondary education institutions.

Our success is measurable.

• Through core programs, EAL, Enterprise Services Training for business and industry students, we serve over 2000 students each year.
• 93.1% of students indicate their program has prepared them for workplace.
• 96.6% of students would recommend their program to others.
• 84% satisfaction with equipment and supplies used for learning
• 90.8% satisfaction with program being relevant and up to date.
• 2009, Skills Manitoba/Canada competition - 14 Medals
• 90.5% graduate employment rate
• High employer satisfaction, with frequent calls to our Job Referral Service for potential employees.

We serve the community from 3 Campuses, with the main administrative office located at the Henlow campus, in the south end of Winnipeg, near the University of Manitoba. Classes run from September to June, with multiple start dates in most programs.
