With 15 years experience in human resources, Adam most recently worked as an Indigenous HR advisor in the financial sector bringing Indigenous perspectives and knowledge to the conversation on talent acquisition and retention. He is a passionate advocate for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Call to Actions and how this applies to Indigenous economic development. Joining the Legacy Bowes team and TIPI Group of Companies is exactly where Adam hoped his career journey would lead him.
He was born and raised in Winnipeg along with his 8 siblings, identifying as both Ashkenazi Jewish and Red River Metis. Not knowing his Indigenous roots until later in life, Adam has been going through his personal journey of understanding his own Indigeneity, and what the true history of the Indigenous experience. Adam feels he has a unique opportunity to incorporate both culture's traditions and value systems into his life while building bridges between communities.
