The challenge:

National Board members were concerned about the power of the Executive Director versus the authority of the Board. They wished to contract with a consultant to examine the situation and make recommendations.

Our solution:

Legacy Bowes Group developed an online board member questionnaire and interviewed all board members face to face and/or by telephone. In addition, we attended and observed board meetings and reviewed several years worth of meeting minutes. We then interviewed all staff and held focus groups. Based on our findings, we presented a report with recommendations which were well accepted.
