The challenge:

Our client, a First Nations Health Authority was moving toward taking responsibility from Medical Services for the costs of Physician Services. In order to do this, they wished to ensure they had the right resources in the right place at the right time.

Our solution:

Legacy Bowes Group undertook a review of both board governance and operational management. This included interviews with board members and staff, review of documents including meeting minutes, policy manuals, organization charts, etc. The project resulted in a set of recommendations that focused on strengthening the organization structure, staffing credentials and operational processes. The project led to our involvement in several recruitment, training and planning projects.
