Training & Development

Our training and development services consist of workshops designed on a case-by-case basis to meet your company’s specific needs. Whether you require a half-day program or a 5-day leadership development program, we will work with you to determine what will be most beneficial for your employees.

Some of the topics we can cover in our training & development programs are as follows:

Mental Wellness in the Workplace

Mental health wellness is often overlooked as priority in the workplace. Employees may be reluctant to share personal information while managers who want to help don’t know what to do. While investing in mental wellness in the workplace is worth the investment, it takes effort and time. This program will outline the complexity and growing priority of mental health wellness in the workplace and how this can be integrated into all areas of human resources.

Management Training

When it comes to having employees working together in the workplace, one of the most destructive behaviours is “lateral violence”. This type of behaviour is the number one health and safety issue impacting many organizations. The impact affects not only the health and safety of the employees, but productivity, morale, quality of work and creates a toxic workplace. This training helps leaders in the organization learn how to address and prevent lateral violence in their workplaces and on their teams. Once they begin to take control and lead effectively, employees can begin to thrive and work together creating a productive positive work environment.

Diversity & Inclusion

With any of the above sessions we would undertake a post-mortem with yourselves to look at what went well, what could be revised and how to potentially focus future training to meet the needs of your membership organizations. Each organization has its own culture and approach to diversity and there will be many strategies to examining the current situation and helping leadership and staff move beyond their current state. We have numerous in-house and consultant facilitators who have expertise in the generalized topic of diversity and inclusion and I want to emphasize that we are comfortable in creating training sessions that take complex and challenging topics and bring them focus and clarity to meet the need of each specific client or group.
